Inside the Boardroom as heard
on KMBZ:

Email Security

Most people are aware that email is not secure, but don't realize how insecure. Not only can your Internet Service Provider read your email, they have the legal right to do so. There's also the issue of performance. If you send a large attachment to five employees, it will cross your connection to the internet six times, which can really hamper performance.

MS: What can a small company do?

An internal email server is an excellent investment. It will keep internal company email inside the company, and dramatically improve performance. It will also allow you to send and receive attachments as large as you'd like.

MS: Isn't that expensive?

Not anymore. You can purchase an email server with spam control for less than $1000, and with remote management, there's no need for internal expertise.
